Forth Environment Link is an environmental charity based in Forth Valley that focuses on green initiatives like active travel, local food growing, and reuse and repair. During the pandemic, Forth Environment Link worked with the NHS Forth Valley to provide e-bikes on loan to key workers. Teviot Electric Car Club is a cooperative aimed at providing the community with affordable transport. TECC operates in Hawick in the Scottish Borders. The club enables people in the community to try driving electric vehicles and move away from private car use. Chair Andy Maybury tells us more about how their car club came to be.
